Terms and Conditions

How often will we visit

We offer the choice of every 6 or 12 weekly visits. We ask for some flexibility on time scales due to rain and other unforeseen factors up to a week after when your clean is due.

Regular Service - Minimum Cleans

When signing up to our regular window cleaning service all new customers agree to a minimum of 3 cleans.  

Prior to the visit

The day before the visit our team will contact you via text or email to inform you that your clean is due and to ensure access arrangements to your property. If there are any issues related to access you must contact us on 07739 478 145 or admin@ethicleen.com before 6pm to avoid unnecessary charges.

Bad Weather

Our pure water system allows us to clean your windows in the rain and the finish will not be affected. Having said that, we recognise that the majority of our customers would prefer to not have their windows cleaned in the pouring rain. As a result we try to not clean in the pouring rain but do still work in light rain or short showers. If the rain is too heavy, we will not clean your windows and your clean will be carried over to the next working day.

Turning Us Away

We aim to be as reliable as we can but we also appreciate our customers being reliable. We reserve the right to charge the full price of the clean if our team are turned away at the door and/or a cancellation is made on the day of the expected clean. We also reserve the right to charge the full price if we are unable to access the property on the day of the clean.

Cancelling our service

If you should wish to cancel our services you have the right to do so at any time. This can be done by telephone on 07739 478 145 or by email to admin@ethicleen.com. One off window cleans are available by arrangement, however, all new customers agree to a minimum of 3 cleans when signing up with Ethicleen. If cancelling before 3 cleans have taken place the remaining cleans will be payable.

Complaints Policy

Customer satisfaction is a core value of Ethicleen and we strive to ensure that all of our customers are 100% satisfied with every job we complete.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work we pledge to return to your property within 48 hours to reclean your windows for free.

Confidentiality

All customer information is kept on a confidential database and is not discussed or shared with any individual or company, as is required under the terms and conditions of the data protection act.

Payments

Customers joining our 4 or 8 weekly rounds are required to pay via Gocardless. Gocardless is a direct debit system which allows Ethicleen to automatically collect payment 5 days after each clean. Instructions on how to sign up to Gocardless can be found on the payments section of our website. Customers booking one of our services such as gutter clearing, which have not recurring payments, can be paid by credit or debit card either on the phone or upon completion of the work.
